Hoosier natives and best friends, Denise Town and Tracy Gritter, founded Gallery 116 in 2002. Both women combined years of sales and marketing experience with their true love of art and home decor. Denise, a graduate of Ball State University, is a self-taught floral and jewelry designer. Tracy, studied art at Indiana University, and is an abstract painter and self-taught jewelry designer.

Five years strong, Gallery 116 has evolved over the years into a charming and hip shopping oasis in the middle of suburbia.

“We strive to sell merchandise that you can’t find locally,” says Gritter. “We really like the unusual, only the best of the best.”

“Gallery 116 is unique in its atmosphere as well as its merchandise,” adds Town. “There’s literally something for everyone … and the gift wrap is delightful, too.”
